HCMC - The Royal Pavilion and R&J Italian Lounge & Restaurant at The Reverie Saigon is presenting two specialty set dinners recognizing the legacy of the famed Venetian traveler Marco Polo until September 30.

An enduring tale of Marco Polo is that he brought pasta back to Europe after his journey through Asia. During his expeditions, Marco Polo feasted at the tables of emperors including the famed Kublai Khan of Mongolia. Each dinner introduced him to the wondrous spices, ingredients, and recipes of Asia.

Celebrating this blend of culinary culture, two of the prestigious restaurants in The Reverie Saigon at the Times Square Building are hosting specialty set dinners that feature a blend of ingredients and recipes to create one-of-a-kind gastronomic journeys through Asia and Europe.

R&J Italian Lounge & Restaurant offers a seven-course set dinner featuring a fusion of contemporary Italian and Chinese dishes, such as imported buffalo mozzarella, roasted marinated tomato; seafood soup; steamed belt fish; Wagyu beef Bolognese dim sum; mustard seeds marinated Iberico pork belly; slow baked USDA beef brisket; and mango sago panna cotta; for VND1,388,000++ per person.

The Royal Pavilion with a five-course set dinner will take on a creative blend of Italian and Cantonese ingredients in pan fried scallop with X.O sauce, grilled pumpkin soup with seafood and crab meat, deep-fried king prawn in spicy, braised homemade squid ink pasta with shredded barbeque pork in abalone sauce, and watercress gelato henkell crystal. The Royal Pavilion set dinner is available for VND1,688,000++ per person.
