HCMC – Local travel firm Vietravel has introduced tours to the United Arab Emirates to bring Vietnamese fans to the final round of the Asian Cup 2019, which will be held between January 5 and February 1, to support the Vietnamese national football team.

Vietravel will launch three separate five-day tours timed to coincide with Group D’s participation in the tournament. The group comprises teams from Vietnam, Iraq, Iran and Yemen who will compete against each other between January 7 and 16.

A Dubai-Abu Dhabi tour departing on January 1, 2019, priced at VND29.59 million, will allow tourists to watch the match between Vietnam and Iraq. Another Dubai-Abu Dhabi tour, starting on January 10 with the same prices, will coincide with the Vietnam-Iran match.

Customers who book the remaining Dubai-Al Ain tour, departing on January 14 and costing a minimum of VND30.59 million, can enjoy the match played by the Vietnam and Yemen teams.

The given tour prices do not include the cost of tickets to the games. According to the tour operator, seats at the grandstand with the best view will cost at least VND500,000 per ticket during the qualifying rounds. The firm will sell football tickets for the final round of the Asian Cup 2019.

Vietravel is reportedly the first tour operator to sell tickets to the tournament. Early this year, the company had taken some 1,000 tourists to watch the final round played by the national U23 football teams of Vietnam and Uzbekistan in Changzhou (China). During the ASIAD 2018 tournament held in Indonesia, approximately 600 customers bought Vietravel tours to support the Olympic football men’s team.
