HCMC - Vietnamese movie producers for the first time are working with Japanese partners to produce a horror movie about zombies entitled “Game Show of Death”, which is a remake of famous Japanese horror movie “St. Zombie Girls’ High School”.

The film tells the story of four beautiful and famous Vietnamese girls participating in a Japanese game show that offers a top prize of US$100,000. They move together to a school in Tokyo, following a tough training schedule and strict rules of the contest. As soon as they enter the school, they begin to encounter a strange and mysterious phenomenon.

“Game Show of Death” is directed by well-known Japanese director Kazuhisa Yusa, who is known as a master of visual effects. Some of his most famous films are Real Onigokko and Samurai Marathon.

The film will introduce to viewers many popular tourist destinations in Japan. Produced by Vietnam’s MBCS Film Studio and released by Galaxy Studio, “Game Show of Death” gathers favorite young Vietnamese actors like Ngo Kien Huy, Hoang Yen Chibi, Thuy Anh and Katleen Phan Vo.

The film is scheduled to hit screens next summer, according to the Vietnam News Agency.
