HCMC – A group of students from Chung Ang University, South Korea is visiting primary and secondary schools in Quang Ngai as part of a community program carried out by Doosan Vina that aims to help local students develop their creative thinking skills and experience Korean art and culture.

The volunteer group of 32 students from Chung Ang University and 13 volunteers from Doosan Vina and Danang University of Foreign Languages interact with more than 1,000 students in the province’s Binh Son, Mo Duc and Son Ha districts through creative activities such as balloon shaping, origami and making pottery.

The Chung Ang University students entertain Vietnamese teachers and students with Korean songs, Taekwondo performance and folk dance.

The volunteers also visit elderly households in Binh Thuan Commune, help them with cleaning and painting their houses, and present gifts.

Education is one of the three key corporate social responsibility programs together with medical and housing that Doosan Vina and Chung Ang University have focused on in Vietnam for the past 11 years.

Doosan Vina is a high tech industrial complex in the Dung Quat Economic Zone in Quang Ngai Province.
