HCMC – Over 200 high-end serviced apartments in HCMC’s District 7, developed by a joint venture between Vietnam and Singapore, were inaugurated this afternoon.

HCMC Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong and Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean participated in the official opening ceremony of Oakwood Residence Saigon at The Saigon South Place Complex in District 7.

Apart from the 30-storey apartment block, the V-Plaza Towers office building project, whose design model was introduced at the ceremony, also belongs to the company, a joint venture between the Saigon Union of Trading Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op) and Singapore's Mapletree Investments (Mapletree), according to local news reports.

Comprising 237 units, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, Oakwood Residence Saigon offers guests fully furnished serviced apartments for both short and long stays and multiple facilities, including outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, children’s playground, barbeque pavilion, residents’ lounge, car park, on-site restaurant and multifunctional meeting rooms.

The V-Plaza Towers project is slated for completion in 2023, with a floor area of 66,000 square meters. The property is expected to be the largest office complex to meet international standards in District 7, HCMC.

V-Plaza Towers, alongside The SC VivoCity shopping mall, Mapletree business center, high-rise residential block RichLane Residences and Oakwood Residence Saigon, will create a close multifunctional complex to serve the working and living needs of residents.
