HANOI - Viettel Post Corporation, a subsidiary of military-run telecom giant Viettel Group, on July 1 launched ecommerce platform and a ride-hailing app called MyGo.

The ecommerce website leverages the national network of delivery and postal services from Viettel Post to offer wide-ranging products to customers. was designed to encourage local farmers to put their farm produce up for sale on its platform and to enable consumers to buy local specialties directly from them.

Apart from doing business on, partner sellers can collaborate with the ecommerce operator to display and sell their products at 6,000 facilities owned by Viettel Post across the country. pledged that customers will receive products that look exactly as advertised, as Viettel Post has an adequate team of 22,000 staff members to check and approve goods from suppliers, according to Tran Trung Hung, general director of Viettel Post.

The postal service operator also launched the ride-hailing app MyGo to compete with players such as Grab, Be, Go Viet and FastGo. MyGo, now available on the iOS and Android app stores, offers truck transport services, aside from ride-hailing and delivery services.

MyGo services are available in 63 provinces and cities, which differentiates it from other apps being launched in major cities only.
