HCMC - A photo exhibition displaying 30 black and white photos of renowned Vietnamese artists taken by photographer Ha Tuong is opening at Ngon Garden, 70 Nguyen Du Street, Hanoi.

Taken during 20 years, from 1975 to 1995, the photos feature well-known artists such as musicians Van Cao and Trinh Cong Son, poets Dang Dinh Hung, Le Dat, Tran Dan and Hoang Cam, historian Tran Quoc Vuong, and ethnographer Tu Chi.

Born in 1942, photographer Ha Tuong has traveled a lot. His lens has captured most of the typical artist faces in diverse fields, from literature to poetry, journalism, translation, painting, theater, film, science, philosophy, history, and ethnography.

On the occasion, Ha Tuong launched a photo book titled “People of the Old Years”, which is 150 pages thick with 150 photos.

The exhibition runs until March 3, according to Nhan Dan newspaper.
