HCMC – The Saigon Times Group will organize a series of seminars on safe tourism amid the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic to help enterprises work out solutions to ensure the safety of tourists.

The seminars will be held in HCMC on October 22, in Quang Nam Province on October 29, in Can Tho City on November 6 and in Hanoi on November 12.

Speakers at the seminars will comprise representatives of tourism departments and associations, local travel firms and experts in the tourism sector.

With the opinions of and suggestions from individuals and organizations, the seminars are expected to provide enterprises with ideas for a safe tourism operation process while the Covid-19 pandemic continues to challenge the tourism sector and the whole world.

The seminar in HCMC, which will take place from 8:00 to 12:00 on October 22 at 35 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, District 1, will be attended by Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, director of the municipal Department of Tourism; Tran Minh Hung, editor-in-chief of the Saigon Times Group; Dang Manh Phuoc, director of Outbox Consulting Company; Phan Xuan Anh, chairman of Viet Excursions Tourism Company; and Ngo Minh Duc, chairman of HG Holding.

Hoa will speak about safe tourism from the point of view of management agencies, while Phuoc will present the necessity of safe tourism operation processes and standards.

The seminar will also include a roundtable discussion on safe tourism solutions with the participation of Hoa, Phuoc, Anh and Duc.
