BINH DINH – A joint venture of three investment partners has been approved to invest in the Diem Van urban area and eco-tourism project in the central province of Binh Dinh with a total investment of VND4,990 billion.

The investors—Binh Dinh Tourism Investment JSC, Silk Path Hotel Co., and Xuan Cau Co.—will implement the project covering 130 hectares, including 57.7 hectares of an urban area and 72.3 hectares of an eco-tourism site. The project will be put into operation later in 2025 with a duration of 50 years.

The provincial People’s Committee requested the investors to comply with the approved 1:500-scale detailed construction plan. In the process of implementing the project, the investors are responsible for completing and synchronizing the infrastructure, including service works, technical infrastructure works and social infrastructure.

They will also pay in advance the cost of compensation, support for site clearance upon notification from the authorities and pay to the State budget within 30 days from the time of receiving the notice from the competent authorities.

In addition, 12 months from the date of approval, the project will be revoked if the joint venture cannot implement the project as decided upon.

Reportedly, in August 2020, the provincial Department of Planning and Investment announced a tender invitation for the Diem Van urban area and eco-tourism project.

Then, the three investors established the joint venture to join in the project. Binh Dinh Tourism Investment JSC, established in August 2018, is located in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.

Xuan Cau Co. is located in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi city, and was established in June 2000. Meanwhile, Silk Path Hotel Co. was established in June 2008 and is located in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

Silk Path has recently invested in many luxury hotels and resorts nationwide.

In June 2018, the company together with two other individuals bought the Green Hotel in Hue City from the Vietnam Electricity Construction Joint Stock Corporation and renamed it as the Grand Silk Path Hue. The hotel’s opening ceremony was held last month.

Apart from the hotel in Hue, the company owns some Silk Path hotels in Hanoi and Sapa.
