HCMC – The land management unit of Dong Nai Province is working hard with the relevant districts and cities to complete preparations to hand over the cleared site for the Dau Giay-Phan Thiet expressway project to the investor next month, Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper reported.
According to Nguyen Hong Que, deputy head of the unit, the 51.5 kilometer expressway will run through the districts of Xuan Loc, Cam My, Thong Nhat and Long Khanh City of Dong Nai. The province has had to recall over 395 hectares from nearly 900 households.
So far, the sections in Cam My, Thong Nhat and Long Khanh are ready. In Xuan Loc, the local authority is still working on land recalls due to the large tracts of land needed.
Regarding the relocation of a significant amount of technical infrastructure such as electricity, telecommunications and water supply connections, the task will be completed by the end of this month, Que remarked.
Connecting Binh Thuan and Dong Nai Province, the Phan Thiet-Dau Giay expressway is 99 kilometers long and linked to the HCMC-Long Thanh-Dau Giay expressway.
