STF awards scholarships to poor students in Phu Yen

The STF – Pham Phu Thu scholarship program of the Saigon Times Foundation (STF) under the Saigon Times Group in collaboration with the authorities of Dong Xuan District in the central coastal province of Phu Yen last Friday granted 30 scholarships worth VND3 million each to high school students in the district.

An elderly teacher’s endless love for poor kids

The 75-year-old Huynh Van Phe, a native from the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre, has never served as a teacher in the country’s education system, but his devotion to the noble cause has heaped praise.
