HCMC – A fire hit a local school in the southern province of Dong Nai this morning, April 14, killing the 12-year-old daughter of a school security guard.
The fire broke out at around 7:30 a.m. at a makeshift house for school security personnel at Phu Dong Primary School in the province’s Bien Hoa City, Thanh Nien newspaper reported.
Immediately, the school security guards told teachers to evacuate students while trying to put out the blaze.
Upon being notified of the incident, firefighters were dispatched to the scene to handle the fire. By 7:50 a.m., they managed to extinguish the fire.
The forces examined the scene of the incident and discovered the body of the 12-year-old girl. She was identified as the daughter of a school security guard.
The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
