HCMC – A blaze erupted at a cashew warehouse in the southern province of Binh Phuoc today, June 28, causing an estimated loss of VND3 billion.
Residents on Phuoc An Street in Phuoc Long Town’s Phuoc Binh Ward discovered a giant column of black smoke from the cashew nut warehouse at 6:00 a.m. on the day. The fire quickly ripped through the facility.
Five fire trucks and 30 firefighters were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the ferocious flames. They brought the fire under control after two hours.
No casualties were reported in the inferno. The police are determining the cause of the fire, the local media reported.
