HCMC – The Party secretary of Hoa Binh Province in northern Vietnam, Ngo Van Tuan, has been picked as deputy auditor general in charge of the State Audit of Vietnam (SAV), said a report on the news website of the National Assembly.
The former auditor general, Tran Sy Thanh, has just been elected chairman of the Hanoi City People’s Committee, making the post of auditor general vacant for now. Thanh is also deputy secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee.
Vuong Dinh Hue, Politburo member and National Assembly chairman, yesterday (July 24) attended a conference held at the SAV head office in Hanoi City to announce the Politburo’s decision to appoint Ngo Van Tuan as secretary of the Civil Affairs Committee at SAV and the National Assembly’s resolution to assign Tuan as deputy auditor general in charge of SAV.
Tuan is still head of Hoa Binh Province’s National Assembly deputies delegation.
The SAV office term of Tuan, who is a member of the Party Central Committee, is five years, starting from the date of his appointment.
