HCMC – Three of HCMC’s districts — 1, 5 and 10 — have yet to start a Covid vaccination campaign for children aged 5 to 17, so the HCMC Department of Health has urged the trio to speed up vaccinations.
The department said today, August 2, that since the city launched a vaccine rollout for children, many districts such as Hoc Mon and Binh Chanh have successfully arranged vaccination sites at schools.
However, the districts of 1, 5 and 10 have yet to establish vaccination sites for children, the local media reported, citing the department.
These districts were asked to promptly work with healthcare centers and schools to set up vaccination sites as soon as possible as children will soon return to school for a new school year.
The department also told the healthcare centers of districts 1, 5 and 10 to explain the delays.
