HCMC – Domestic fuel prices dropped by VND900-1,200 per liter or kilogram starting from 3 p.m. today, August 11, after the adjustment jointly made by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.
The RON 95-III gasoline now sells for VND24,660 per liter, and bio-fuel E5 RON 92 sells for VND23,720 per liter, down by VND940 and VND900, respectively.
Diesel oil now costs VND22,900 per liter, dropping VND1,000, and kerosene is priced at 23,320 per liter, falling by VND1,210. Meanwhile, heavy fuel oil prices remained unchanged at VND16,540 per kilogram.
Compared to late June, the prices of RON 95-III gasoline, bio-fuel E5 RON 92 and diesel oil dropped by VND8,210, VND7,580, and VND7,110, respectively. This is the fifth straight time fuel prices have been revised down.
This time, the two ministries will replenish the stabilization fund with less fuel surcharge.
Specifically, the surcharge imposed on E5 RON 92, RON 95-III, diesel oil, kerosene, and mazut was VND700, VND750, VND 350, VND650, and VND716 per liter/kilogram, respectively.
