HCMC – Huda Beer, a brand under Carlsberg Vietnam, has completed a clean water project in Phuong Tru Village in the central province of Ha Tinh, providing a vital source of clean water to local residents.

This project is a crucial part of the broader “Fresh Water for Beloved Central Vietnam” program, which encompasses five projects aimed at addressing chronic water shortages in the region.

The completion of the Phuong Tru project means that about 150 households in the province now have access to clean and safe drinking water. This achievement marks the fifth year of the program, which has thus far implemented 22 projects, benefiting nearly 33,000 people across 8,500 households in central Vietnam.

Onno Rombouts, general director of Carlsberg Vietnam, stressed the significance of this program, highlighting how it reflects the company’s commitment and responsibility to the communities where it operates. He also commended the substantial achievements made over the past five years, which serve as motivation for the company’s ongoing efforts to maintain and expand its goals in the coming years.
