HCMC – FPT Corporation has announced its first-ever merger and acquisition transaction in the Japanese market, with the takeover of information technology services company Next Advanced Communications (NAC).
NAC will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of FPT, allowing the Hanoi-based company to double its customer base and service offerings in Japan.
FPT will leverage NAC’s pool of nearly 300 experienced engineers and expertise in technology and business consulting. This acquisition is expected to aid FPT in achieving its goal of generating US$1 billion in revenue from the Japanese market by 2027.
The M&A deal followed FPT’s previous business partnerships in Japan, including a joint venture with Konica Minolta and a strategic investment in LTS Inc.
