HCMC – PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer JSC, which trades its DCM shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange, has announced a 20% cash dividend for the year 2023, with the payment scheduled for July 11.
Shareholders will get VND2,000 for each share held. With 529.4 million outstanding shares, the firm will need around VND1.06 trillion for the dividend payment.
This year, the company looks to book VND11.88 trillion in consolidated revenue and VND794.8 billion in net profit.
In the first quarter of the year, it posted revenue of nearly VND2.9 trillion and after-tax profit of VND349.6 billion. With these results, the firm achieved 24.3% of its annual revenue target and nearly 44% of its profit target.
Wrapping up the trading session today, June 13, DCM inched down by 1.14% to VND39,000 per share, with a trading volume of nearly 4.4 million shares.
With 246 winners and 187 losers, the VN-Index closed up by 1.32 points, or 0.10%, at 1,301.51, with banking stocks leading the gains.
Trading volume reached over 891.1 million shares worth VND23.07 trillion, nearly matching the previous session’s volume but slightly lower in value. Block deals contributed over 62 million shares valued at VND1.77 trillion.
Most bank stocks advanced by the end of the session, except for VCB, VIB, and EIB, which saw slight declines, and TCB, which remained unchanged. Notable gainers included MBB, TPB, and VPB, recording high trading volumes from nearly 39 million to over 44.2 million shares.
SHB was the most actively traded stock on the market, with 48.4 million shares traded. It gained 1.69% to VND12,000 per share.
TPB increased by 2.98% to VND19,000 per share, MBB rose by 2% to VND23,550, and VPB edged up by 0.2%. The banking sector contributed over 2.5 points to the main index.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index moved sideways, closing up by 0.05 point, or 0.02%, at 248.36. The northern market saw 73.7 million shares worth VND1.56 trillion being traded, with the number of advancers and decliners evenly split at 83 each.
