DNSE Securities lists 330 million shares on HOSE

HCMC – DNSE Securities JSC listed 330 million shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) on Monday, trading under the ticker DSE.

The reference price for its debut on the HOSE was set at VND30,000 per share, with a trading band of 20% around this price on the debut day.

Before going public, the company significantly increased its charter capital. In July 2021, it raised its charter capital from VND160 billion to VND1 trillion. This trend continued in May 2022 with another increase to VND3 trillion. The recent IPO brought the total capital to VND3.3 trillion.

In January 2024, Finland’s PYN Elite Fund invested in DNSE, acquiring a 12% stake. This investment highlights confidence in DNSE’s growth potential.

The company looks to serve five million customers and achieve a market capitalization of VND72 trillion over the next five years, along with a profit target of VND2.4 trillion.

Closing the trading session today, July 1, DSE dropped by 4.67% to VND28,600 per share, with a trading volume of over 1.2 million shares.

The HOSE wrapped up the trading session today with 276 winners and and 141 losers, with nearly 487.2 million shares worth VND13.1 trillion changing hands. The figures represented a 42% plunge in volume and a 37.12% drop in value over the previous session. Block deals accounted for 54.2 million shares valued at VND1.2 trillion.

The VN-Index rose by 9.24 points, or 0.74%, to finish at 1,254.56, thanks to a strong performance of bluechip stocks in the VN30 basket.

The VN30 basket, comprising the 30 largest-cap stock on the HOSE, saw 22 stocks rising and seven others dipping, adding over seven positive points to the main index.

CTG, MWG and VCB were the main drivers as they collectively contributed 3.9 positive points to the benchmark index, with respective increases of 3.23%, 5.45% and 1.06%. MWG took the lead by liquidity on the southern exchange, with 21.8 million shares changing hands.

Retail stock VRE also performed well as it soared to the ceiling price of VND21,850 per share, with a trading volume of over 13.7 million shares. On the other hand, FPT weighed on the VN-Index the most, shaving off 0.7 point.

The banking, securities, and steel sectors rebounded after a weak morning session. Banking stocks like VPB and SHB rose nearly 2%, each trading over 16 million shares. In the steel sector, HPG was the most active with 13.56 million shares, while HSG and NKG gained around 2%.

There were 97 advancers and 76 decliners on the Hanoi Stock Exchange. The HNX-Index gained 0.98 point, or 0.41%, to reach 238.56, with a trading volume of 47.96 million shares valued at nearly VND869 billion.
