HCMC – Officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers will have four consecutive days off during the National Day (September 2) holiday.
According to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the holiday will last from August 31 to September 3, 2024.
For most, the four-day holiday includes the regular weekend, Saturday and Sunday, plus two public holidays on Monday and Tuesday.
Workers who normally have one day off on Sunday will have a three-day break from September 1 to September 3.
Those who usually have both Saturday and Sunday off will enjoy the extended four-day holiday from August 31 to September 3.
Agencies and units that do not follow a fixed Saturday-Sunday rest schedule will arrange their holidays based on their specific plans.
