HCMC – Vietnam’s hospitality and real estate sectors are set for high growth, with a renewed focus on sustainability and wellness, according to industry experts.

The recent Meet The Experts (MTE) conference in Hanoi gathered key stakeholders to discuss emerging trends and opportunities in these sectors.

Mauro Gasparotti, director of Savills Hotels, noted the rising demand for luxury experiences, second-home properties, and wellness-centered developments, particularly among Asian tourists. He highlighted Vietnam’s potential to become a leading destination for these travelers.

In response to shifting market trends, many hotel owners and operators are rebranding and repositioning their properties, offering developers more flexibility in managing assets. The resurgence of group travel has also spurred a need for upgraded accommodations.

Uyen Nguyen, head of Consultancy at Savills Hotels, compared Vietnam’s evolving tourism landscape to Thailand’s successful model, stressing the importance of strategic planning, infrastructure development, and focused marketing campaigns.

The conference showcased innovative hospitality concepts, including lifestyle hotels, luxury glamping, and eco-friendly resorts. Discussions also focused on ultra-luxury projects and the increasing importance of wellness features in hospitality and real estate developments.
