HCMC – The American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam HCMC (AmCham Vietnam HCMC) recently held two blood donor days, with 410 units of blood collected from nearly 400 volunteers.
Held in collaboration with the HCMC Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital and Victoria Healthcare International Clinic, the drives took place on October 24 at the Victoria Healthcare Luong Dinh Cua Clinic in Thu Duc City and on October 31 at the MSD Vietnam office.
These efforts come in response to higher demand for blood in Vietnam, especially with the upcoming holiday season and Lunar New Year 2025.
Dr. Bach Quoc Khanh, director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, highlighted the importance of consistent donation programs to ensure a steady blood supply.
