HCMC – Vietnam’s biggest online shopping event of the year, “Online Friday 2024,” is set to begin with a 60-hour nationwide sale starting at midnight on November 29, reported the Vietnam News Agency.
This event will feature thousands of discounted products from Vietnamese businesses, emphasizing local quality and origin.
Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency, Online Friday aims to boost domestic product sales and enhance the online shopping experience for Vietnamese consumers.
The campaign, running from November 25 to December 1, will offer deals across multiple e-commerce platforms, including TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada, and Tiki.
This year’s event places a strong focus on Vietnamese-made products, with livestream sessions showcasing goods from all six key economic regions of Vietnam.
Held at the Hanoi Children’s Palace from November 29 to December 1, these live events will feature discounts of up to 50% on various products, supporting the “Vietnamese people use Vietnamese goods” campaign.
Organizers anticipate reaching one billion views and shopping experiences during the sale, supported by measures to build consumer confidence and ensure product authenticity.
