Akuna marks two-year anniversary with truffle dinner

Akuna restaurant will celebrate its second anniversary and second consecutive Michelin Star with a one-night-only truffle dinner on July 26.

The dinner features a six-course menu crafted in collaboration with two-Michelin-starred Octavium from Hong Kong and premium Australian truffle supplier To-Plate.

The exclusive event, held at a five-star hotel in HCMC, will spotlight Australian black truffles and offer an optional curated wine pairing by IDEAL Vietnam, highlighting rare Italian vintages.

Tickets are priced at VND8,888,000++ per person, with only 40 seats available.

Helmed by Australian-born Chef Sam Aisbett, Akuna has risen to prominence for its bold, ingredient-driven approach to modern Vietnamese cuisine. Aisbett’s accolades include recognition from La Liste, Robb Report, Tatler Asia, and The Best Chef Awards.

Joining him for the evening is Chef Giuseppe De Vuono of Octavium, known for refined Southern Italian fare. Their collaboration aims to showcase culinary artistry, sustainable sourcing, and cross-cultural innovation.
