HCMC — More than 2,500 international runners from nearly 70 countries took part in the Standard Chartered Hanoi Heritage Marathon 2025 from November 7 to 9, almost doubling last year’s turnout, organizers said.
The rise in foreign participation keeps the event as Vietnam’s marathon with the largest international field. Standard Chartered Vietnam said the race continues to expand its scale and involvement from both local and overseas runners.
The marathon featured distances of 2.1km for children and 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km for adults. The races were held across multiple days to reduce disruptions for local residents.
