HCMC – Saigon Beer – Alcohol – Beverage Corporation (HOSE: SAB) plans to pay a 20% cash dividend for 2025, with the record date set for January 13 and payments slated for February 12, 2026.
The dividend will be funded from undistributed profits from previous years. Shareholders will get VND2,000 for every share held. With over 1.28 billion outstanding shares, the payout will total VND2.56 trillion.
Vietnam Beverage Company holds 687.3 million shares, or 53.59% of capital, and will receive VND1.37 trillion. The State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC), with a 36% stake, will receive more than VND923.5 billion.
In the third quarter of 2025, SAB reported revenue of VND6.5 trillion, down 15.9% from the same period last year. Net profit rose 20.9% to VND1.4 trillion. The company said gross profit increased 5% to nearly VND2.4 trillion due to a 25% fall in cost of goods sold to VND4.05 trillion. Other operating activities contributed nearly VND133 billion, compared with a loss of VND6.8 billion in Q3 2024.
For the first nine months of 2025, SAB recorded revenue of nearly VND19.3 trillion, down 16.6% from the same period in 2024. Net profit fell 1.4% to VND3.4 trillion. The company has achieved 43% of its full-year revenue target of VND44.8 trillion and 71.4% of its profit target of VND4.8 trillion.
Closing the trading session today, November 12, SAB edged up 0.32% to VND46,950, with 753,600 shares changing hands.
Vietnam’s stock market rose sharply on Wednesday, led by large-cap and banking shares. The VN-Index gained 38.25 points, or 2.4%, to close at 1,631.86, with 268 stocks advancing and 58 others declining. Total trading volume reached 757.6 million shares worth VND22.1 trillion, up 14% in volume and 12% in value. Block deals accounted for 75 million shares valued at VND2.7 trillion.
Vingroup shares led the rally. VRE rose 5.64% to VND32,800, VIC gained 5.07% to VND211,200, and VHM added 4.44% to VND94,000. FPT increased 4.68% to VND100,600.
Banking stocks also advanced. TCB gained 4.01% to VND35,000, EIB rose 3.35% to VND21,600, SSB added 3.31% to VND17,150, and SHB increased 3.16% to VND16,300. VIB, LPB, TPB, and MBB rose more than 2%, while VCB, HDB, ACB, VPB, and STB gained 1–2%. Only OCB remained flat.
Securities firms were mixed. VCI, TCX, and APG remained in negative territory, but losses eased in the afternoon. VIX led gains, up 4.52% to VND 25,450. AGR, ORS, TVB, and VND rose between 2.5% and 3%. Most other securities stocks gained 1–2%.
Real estate shares recovered. NVL and CII hit ceiling prices at VND13,050 and VND24,350, respectively. KHG surged 6.81% to VND7,690. HTN and LGL gained more than 5%, while CTD, CCC, PDR, and HAR jumped over 4%. Only four real estate stocks declined, led by CC1, down 6.79%.
Steel stocks posted moderate gains. TNI reached its ceiling price. NKG rose 3.9% to VND17,100, HPG gained 1.5% to VND27,000, and HSG inched up 1.18% to VND17,100.
Trading volume was concentrated in banking and securities shares. SHB took the lead by liquidity with 83.5 million shares traded, followed by VIX at 52.1 million and SSI at 35 million.
The HNX-Index also rose, though more moderately. It gained 3.71 points, or 1.42%, to close at 264.79, with 103 winners and 44 losers. Total trading volume reached 67.5 million shares worth VND1.5 trillion.
