Starting mid-March 2026, VinaGroup Travel, in partnership with Southern Vietnam Helicopters (VNH South), launched scenic helicopter tours over Vung Tau beach, Can Gio mangroves, and downtown HCMC.
Operating from Vung Tau Airport at 38 Ba Muoi Thang Tu Street, Tam Thang Ward, HCMC, these flights last 15 to 60 minutes, with prices starting at VND2.9 million. Travelers can choose from four distinct routes, including Vung Tau Skyview (15 minutes) with a panoramic beach circuit, Green Horizon (30 minutes) connecting Vung Tau beach to Can Gio Biosphere Reserve, Green Coastline (40 minutes with scenic coastal views of Long Hai and Ho Tram and Skyline Discovery (60 minutes with the ultimate journey from Vung Tau beach to dowtown HCMC and Can Gio Biosphere Reserve.
The service offers both standard (12-seat) and VIP (8-seat) options. Scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, this initiative aims to diversify HCMC’s “staycation” offerings and provide a breathtaking new perspective on Vietnam’s southern landscapes.
