HCMC – The conference The Future of Artificial Intelligence, a major tech event meant to connect the business communities of Singapore and Vietnam, will take place on July 28, 2023 at The Sentry C, 15 Le Thanh Ton Street in HCMC’s District 1.
The conference is organized by JDI One, in collaboration with the Singapore Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and Singapore Global Network, and is considered a leading event on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in HCMC, a dynamic hub boasting high growth in Vietnam.
AI has been a major topic hotly debated for years, and given new applications lately, such as ChatGPT, it has become a prominent issue across various fields and among all walks of life due to its widespread impacts that can create profound changes. Numerous questions have been raised about the future of AI: what are the challenges posed by AI besides opportunities; what are the risks besides benefits for business and the people; and what are ethical implications besides material and spiritual values from AI?
Many such-and-such questions will be debated and delved into at The Future of Artificial Intelligence, where professionals as panelists or speakers will present their understanding before a selective audience, listen to and field questions from them; where the tech community will be given a deep insight into the future of AI to map out their action plans and look for cooperation and networking opportunities; and where proposals are to be put forth for policy-makers on how to prep for an environment for development, especially in relation to new tech.
According to the organizer, major topics at the conference will include the ethical implications of AI development and deployment; the potential advancements and impacts of AI in various fields; understanding the intersection of AI and cyber security, including its benefits and risks; and integrating AI into education to enhance learning experiences and personalize education.
Discussion sessions will be led by top-notch tech specialists, including Dr. Charles Cheung at NVIDIA AI Technology Center for North Asia; Quan Nguyen, a research engineer at Open AI; Kim Anh Nguyen at Vin Bigdata under Vingroup; and Triet Le at Amazon Vietnam among others.
AI is indispensable for the future of South East Asia, but it is still in the early stages of development here compared to other parts of the world. Speakers will help participants explore the potential of AI in South East Asia in comparison with tech powerhouses in the world, the roadmaps for AI hardware and infrastructure development, and various AI applications for business, especially in the retail and banking industries.
At the event, participants will have opportunities to experience numerous AI-driven products and applications from top tech companies as well.
Participants in general and tech startups in particular will also be introduced to AI-powered business strategies, share groundbreaking solutions, look for potential partners, attract investors, and connect with C-level executives and industry experts.
