AIA Vietnam Honoured for the 8th Consecutive Year with AmCham CSR Award

Must read

AIA Vietnam has been honoured with the AmCham Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award, presented by H.E. Marc E. Knapper, U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, at the Annual General Meeting of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham). This marks the eighth consecutive year that AIA Vietnam has received this prestigious award, reaffirming the company’s strong commitment to supporting sustainable community development in Vietnam.

The award recognises AIA Vietnam’s pioneering, consistent and meaningful contributions throughout 2025, delivered through a series of key initiatives across four core pillars: education, environment, health and emergency relief.

Among these initiatives is the “AIA Journey” program, implemented in collaboration with the National Fund for Vietnamese Children and the Traffic Police Department. Through activities such as donating bicycles and learning equipment, the program has supported tens of thousands of children from disadvantaged backgrounds across provinces and cities nationwide.

In parallel, AIA Vietnam’s “For a Greener Planet” campaign, launched in 2021 in response to the Prime Minister’s call to plant one billion trees, has been sustained over the past five years. Working closely with management boards of protection forests and national parks—including Can Gio Protection Forest (Ho Chi Minh City), Xuan Thuy National Park (Nam Dinh), and Ha Trung Protection Forest (Thanh Hoa)—AIA Vietnam has planted nearly 27,000 trees, contributing to long-term green spaces and reduced emissions in key ecological areas.

In particular, in 2025, the community initiative “AIA Pink Journey – Journey of Love,” implemented in partnership with the Vietnam Breast Cancer Network (BCNV), was launched to raise awareness, provide in-depth consultations, and promote early detection of breast cancer. The program aims to provide health consultations and free breast cancer screenings to at least 2,500 women in 2025, with a longer-term goal of supporting 30,000 women nationwide by 2030.

Bicycles and gifts were presented to children from disadvantaged backgrounds in various provinces.

Amid consecutive storms and floods causing severe damage across many provinces in northern and central Vietnam, AIA Vietnam swiftly implemented emergency relief programs to provide timely support to affected communities. These efforts included the provision of essential supplies, learning equipment, and financial assistance to more than 1,400 households in provinces such as Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Da Nang, Hue, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, and Khanh Hoa, with total support exceeding VND 1 billion.

Through these community initiatives, AIA Vietnam continues to play a meaningful role in improving living environments, supporting healthcare, advancing education, and enhancing quality of life for communities. These sustained efforts also reflect the company’s strong confidence in Vietnam’s investment environment and its long-term commitment to accompanying the country’s sustainable development journey.
