Alma Resort Cam Ranh has introduced a hands-on tree planting initiative, inviting guests of all ages to contribute to environmental conservation as part of its broader sustainability efforts.

The “Green Hands, Green Future Tree Planting Activity” is hosted daily from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the resort’s Kid’s Club. Participants can plant one of three tree species—Golden Bell, Bauhinia variegata, or Coconut Tree—and receive a personalized name tag along with photo updates of their tree’s growth.

The trees are planted along the resort’s scenic “Walking Street,” an area increasingly referred to by staff as “The Walk of Green” due to the growing number of guest-planted trees lining the path.

The tree planting initiative is part of Alma Resort’s comprehensive sustainability strategy. The resort is in the process of implementing one of Vietnam’s most ambitious solar power projects, installing 4,476 solar panels covering 23,290 square meters. With a peak capacity of 2,462 kilowatts, the system is expected to generate between 25% and 35% of the resort’s total energy needs, depending on seasonal occupancy.

The 30-hectare beachfront resort was recently recognized in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards, ranking as the No. 1 resort in Southeast Asia, No. 2 in Asia, and No. 9 globally.
