Alma Resort on Cam Ranh Peninsula has been named the “Best Family Hotel in Vietnam” by Little Steps Asia, following a regional vote involving thousands of travelers across Asia.
The Hong Kong–based parenting publication cited Alma’s extensive leisure and dining offerings, including 12 swimming pools, 14 restaurants, 580 ocean-view suites and what it described as Vietnam’s most exciting water park, as key factors behind the award.
More than 700 hotels across Asia were nominated for the annual awards, with over 12,000 people voting for their favorite properties in 17 countries. Founded in 2008, Little Steps Asia is regarded as a leading lifestyle and travel resource for parents in the region.
Herbert Laubichler-Pichler, managing director of Alma Resort, said the recognition reflected the efforts of the resort’s staff and its focus on adapting to the needs of modern family travelers.
The award follows the recent launch of Alma Discovery Camp, a new recreation and education facility designed to connect children with nature, farm animals and sustainable agriculture through interactive activities and a dedicated museum.
Alma features a wide range of family-oriented facilities, including a technology experience center, kids’ and youth clubs, a 75-seat cinema and a 6,000-square-meter water park with a lazy river and wave pool. Activities range from baking workshops and kite flying to virtual-reality golf.
