HCMC – The American Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (AmCham Vietnam) recently presented scholarships and training courses to 60 university students in HCMC as part of the 22nd AmCham Scholarship program.
Each recipient will be granted a scholarship worth VND15 million along with a project management course provided by Atoha Institute.
The scholarship recipients were carefully chosen from a competitive pool of 769 applicants representing 20 universities in HCMC. The selection process comprised three rounds, including application form screening, ability tests, and English interviews, all evaluated by specialists from AmCham member companies.
This process is designed to simulate the recruitment procedures of many multinational firms, offering students valuable skill-building opportunities to prepare for their future careers.
The AmCham Scholarship program, which has been ongoing since 2001, is one of AmCham Vietnam’s flagship initiatives. To date, it has awarded scholarships to over 1,000 students, underscoring AmCham Vietnam’s dedication to enhancing human resources and education in Vietnam.
This year’s program received support from Atoha Institute and Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage.
