HCMC – Armenia has inaugurated its honorary consulate in HCMC, led by Honorary Consul Gregory Ohannessian.
The opening of the consulate will help foster cooperation between Vietnam and Armenia in areas such as trade, investment and tourism.
“The ceremony is a testament to the warm and longstanding friendship between our two countries,” said Honorary Consul Ohannessian.
He stated this diplomatic mission would promote cultural exchange and economic cooperation between Vietnam and Armenia.
Vietnam and Armenia established diplomatic relations in 1992. The opening of Armenia’s honorary consulate in HCMC this year is seen as a positive step as the two countries have plans to organize more trade promotion and technology exchange activities in 2024.
