HCMC – To An Xo and Tran Dang Quynh have been appointed as assistants to the Party General Secretary, according to the Party Central Committee Office’s announcement.
On the afternoon of September 4, the Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam announced the decisions of the Secretariat regarding the appointments.
The Secretariat picked Lieutenant General To An Xo, assistant to the Minister of Public Security, as assistant to the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, and head of the Party General Secretary’s Office.
To Lam is also State President.
The Secretariat also named Colonel Tran Dang Quynh, assistant to the Minister of Public Security, as assistant to the Party General Secretary.
Along with that was the decision by the Chief of the Party Central Committee Office to name a secretary to the Party General Secretary.
Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Nguyen Duy Ngoc presented the decision to appoint Major Dinh Tien Hai, deputy director general and secretary to the Minister of Public Security, as secretary to the General Secretary.
