Le Duy Hiep, general director of Transimex, said the company is prioritizing green logistics to combat climate change by integrating advanced technology and renewable energy. Transimex’s recently built cold storage facility in Long An Province features an automated cold storage system (ASRS) powered by solar energy, significantly cutting greenhouse gas emissions. According to Hiep, Transimex is not only focusing on new projects but has also transitioned its entire cold and cool storage systems across all logistics centers to solar power over the past five years. The company’s 5,016kWp solar system generates approximately 7,164MWh of clean energy annually, reducing CO2 emissions by 5,760 tons per year.
