By Xuan Dat

Must read

As autumn arrives in the ancient capital of Hue, Ru Cha—a rare primeval mangrove forest within the Tam Giang Lagoon system—transforms into a mesmerizing golden landscape, attracting both photography enthusiasts and visitors.

Situated in Thuan Hoa Village, Huong Phong Commune, Hue City, Ru Cha (where “ru” means forest and “cha” refers to a plant species found here) serves as a natural barrier that helps prevent salinity and protect aquatic resources and the mainland.

Covering an area of 40 hectares, this rich and diverse forest provides visitors a glimpse of its enchanting beauty during this season. The golden hues of the Cha trees reflecting on the water and the small winding paths through the forest create a magical atmosphere that captivates all who visit.
