HCMC – Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province has announced to adjust up land prices by 20-30% to VND513,000 to VND78 million per square meter, according to a decision issued by the provincial People’s Committee.
The new land prices, which were provided by Decision No. 26/2024/QD-UBND, and took effect on September 17, apply to both urban and rural areas.
Urban land prices now range from VND913,000 to VND78 million per square meter, with the highest rates seen on central streets in Vung Tau City, such as Hoang Hoa Tham and Thuy Van. Rural land prices are set between VND513,000 and VND4 million per square meter.
The adjustments aim to reflect current market conditions and ensure fairness in tax collection, the People’s Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau said. The new rates will be in effect until December 31, 2025, with the possibility of further adjustments in response to significant market changes.
