Bao Viet to pay 10% cash dividend for 2023

HCMC – Bao Viet Holdings, which has its BVH shares listed on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE), has announced a 10% cash dividend for 2023 to be paid to its current shareholders.

BVH shareholders will receive VND1,003.7 for every share held. The list of shareholders eligible for the dividend will be finalized on November 20, with payment scheduled for December 20.

The firm has also released its financial report for Q3/2024, showing operating revenue of nearly VND413.2 billion and after-tax profit of around VND286 billion.

In the January-September period, BVH recorded revenue exceeding VND1.2 trillion and after-tax profit of more than VND866 billion, representing respective year-on-year growth of 5.1% and 4.84%.

Closing the trading session today, November 13, BVH remained unchanged from yesterday’s session, at VND45,200, with 304,300 shares changing hands.

On the HOSE, the VN-Index added 1.22 points, or 0.1%, against the previous day, at 1,246.04 points, with 153 winners and 203 losers.

Around 660.5 million shares worth VND15.3 trillion were traded on this exchange, up by 10% in volume and 7.8% in value compared to the previous session. Block deal transactions contributed around VND1.6 trillion to the overall value.

The recovery of the VN-Index was primarily supported by blue-chip stocks, especially within the VN30 basket, which saw 15 stocks increase and 11 decrease. The VN30-Index gained 2.09 points at the close. MWG saw the largest increase of 1.81% in the basket, followed by VPB.

VIX was the most liquid stock on HOSE today, with 38 million shares traded. It closed down by 2.4% at VND10,150.

On the Hanoi exchange, the HNX-Index edged down by 0.21% day-on-day, at 226.21 points, with 68 advancers and 83 decliners. The total trading volume reached 48.2 million shares, valued at a total of VND947.8 billion.
