HCMC – A consortium comprising three FPT affiliates, in collaboration with Binh Dinh Province, has commenced work on an artificial intelligence (AI) center and supporting urban area in Quy Nhon City.
Located in Tran Quang Dieu Ward and Bui Thi Xuan Ward, the project covers 93.24 hectares and requires a total investment of VND4,362 billion.
This development is designed to foster innovation, investment, and research in AI technology, while also establishing a dedicated urban area that will primarily serve as an AI hub. The project is anticipated to attract top technology talent, positioning Binh Dinh as a leading center for AI in the region.
The project comprises three main functional areas: the artificial intelligence center, an education and training area, and the supporting urban area.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, Pham Anh Tuan, the provincial chairman, emphasized the significance of the project, stating, “The construction of this center aligns with the Politburo’s directives in Resolution No. 52 and will enhance the scientific and technological capabilities of Binh Dinh Province.”
FPT Quy Nhon consortium consists of FPT City Danang, FPT Capital and FPT Software.
