HCMC – Cam Lam-Vinh Hao Expressway – which connects Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan provinces – will be opened to traffic at 7 a.m. tomorrow, April 26.
According to the Cam Lam-Vinh Hao Expressway Joint Stock Company, the expressway will initially allow toll-free two-way traffic until May 2, when toll collection begins.
Vehicles prohibited from using the expressway include those transporting hazardous materials, flammable substances, explosives, as well as motorcycles and tractors.
To cater to road users, a temporary rest area has been established in Nhi Ha Commune, Ham Thuan Nam, Ninh Thuan.
The 78-kilometer Cam Lam-Vinh Hao Expressway will connect to the Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet and Phan Thiet-Dau Giay expressways. Developed under the public-private partnership, the VND9-trillion project began construction on September 30, 2021.
