HCMC – Toll collection on the Cam Lam-Vinh Hao Expressway will begin on May 28, with the highest rate set at VND497,000, according to Cam Lam-Vinh Hao Expressway JSC.
The expressway’s investor said on May 24 that there will be four toll stations along the expressway— Cam Thinh in Khanh Hoa Province, Du Long and Phan Rang in Ninh Thuan Province, and Vinh Hao in Binh Thuan Province.
Cars with fewer than 12 seats, trucks with a load capacity of less than two tons, and public transit buses will be charged VND24,000 to VND130,000.
Vehicles with 12 to 30 seats and trucks with a load capacity from two to less than four tons will be charged VND31,000 to VND170,000.
Passenger coaches with 31 seats or above and trucks weighing 4-10 tons have to pay VND41,000 to VND222,000, while trucks weighing 10-18 tons and trucks carrying 20-foot containers will pay VND65,000 to VND353,000.
Trucks with a load capacity of 18 tons or more and trucks carrying 40-foot containers will be charged VND92,000 to VND497,000.
The Cam Lam-Vinh Hao Expressway, connecting three provinces – Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan, was developed under the public-private partnership format with a total investment of around VND8.93 trillion.
Since the expressway was opened to traffic on April 26, over 280,000 vehicles have used it.
