Apart from strong coffee and tea, there are some kinds of food and drink that may cause sleeplessness. There are many factors that may give rise to insomnia. Some foods and drinks can have a bad impact on the duration and quality of sleep. An improper diet may also affect the metabolism process, thus impacting the sleep. According to nutritionists, alongside such causes as age, physical pain, anxiety, depression and psychological trauma, lifestyle and eating plan may have a bad impact on the quality and duration of sleep. Stimulants and foods that are rich in fats and sugar may cause sleeplessness.
