Pilates, gym or yoga?

As all these physical and mental exercises are now in vogue, you should consider which one is the best for your health. Pilates is a type of mind-body exercise developed by Joseph Pilates, a German physical fitness specialist. It is designed to improve physical health, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness. Pilates can be practiced with specialized equipment, which can help relieve joint pain, and be good for those with respiratory, bone and joint illnesses. Yoga is a set of physical and mental exercises originating from India. Yoga is a practice that connects the body, breath and mind, using physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve overall health, and relaxation. It is good for those with anxiety, depression, joint inflammation, respiratory diseases, high blood pressure, and chronic pain. Different from both Pilates and yoga, gym workouts have to be done with various apparatuses and tools at a gym.
