HCMC – Cebu Pacific Air has inaugurated a new air service connecting Manila and Vietnam’s central coastal city of Danang.
Cebu Pacific Air’s Flight No. 5J 5756 with 177 passengers on board landed at Danang International Airport yesterday night. This is the first direct air service linking Manila and Danang.
Prior to this launch, air carriers from both countries joined hands to conduct market surveys to establish regular flights between Manila and Danang. The service, using Airbus A320 Neo aircraft with 188 seats, has three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Tran Chi Cuong, vice chairman of Danang City, said that the Manila-Danang air service will diversify tourism markets for Danang and facilitate travel for tourists from both sides.
A delegation from the Philippines also arrived from this flight for a Danang FAM trip designed to survey tourism services and products.
