HCMC – Central Vietnam marked the start of the 2025 tourism season with welcome ceremonies for the year’s first visitors in Danang, Hue, Quang Nam and Quang Binh provinces on January 1.
In Danang City, nearly 3,000 visitors arrived by air and sea. The city’s Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Danang International Airport and local businesses, hosted a ceremony featuring cultural performances and distributed 1,000 vouchers for experiences at popular city attractions. International passengers from Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong were greeted at the international terminal.
The city also welcomed almost 2,000 passengers aboard the Noordam, a cruise ship operated by Holland America Line, which docked at Tien Sa Port following stops in Thailand and Cambodia.
