HCMC – After a hiatus induced by the Covid-19 pandemic, the first charter train dedicated to serving tourists has arrived in the central province of Quang Binh, with 300 tourists on board.
On June 9, the Department of Tourism of Quang Binh Province, in collaboration with the Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club, welcomed the first charter train of this year. The 300 tourists traveled from Hanoi Station to Dong Hoi Station, Quang Binh.
This charter train service is a full package for a tourist train trip, implemented by the the Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club in response to the “Vietnamese People Traveling in Vietnam” program initiated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2020.
The service, which was disrupted due to the pandemic, has now resumed.
The Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club plans to deploy two more charter trains, scheduled to depart on June 22 and July 13, following the resumption of this journey.
