Last weekend, “Hue by Light,” a live show program held at Ngo Mon (Noon Gate) Square within the imperial citadel of Hue, captivated over 1,000 attendees.
This mesmerizing sound and light art performance was a collaborative effort between the French Embassy in Vietnam, the French Institute of Vietnam, and the Thua Thien Hue People’s Committee, celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and France.
The event was a remarkable component of the Hue International Music Week 2023 and the winter section of the Hue Festival 2023. The show’s highlight was the utilization of a state-of-the-art projector system boasting an astonishing light intensity of 300,000 lumens, casting a resplendent glow upon the ancient Ngo Mon relic. A comprehensive technical setup complemented by a high-end sound system elevated the performances of artist Sébastien Tellier and the band Limebócx to unprecedented heights.
