HCMC – CJ Group awarded 100 outstanding students in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong with VND450 million in scholarships and educational gifts at a ceremony on December 17.
The program, now in its 12th year, supports students from primary school to university and has benefited over 1,200 students.
“We hope these scholarships not only provide financial support but also inspire the students to strive further and become valuable contributors to society,” said Min Hee Kyung, vice president of CJ Group and head of the CSR Promotion Committee.
CJ is committed to expanding this program so that more students can pursue their dreams of knowledge and success, she added.
The South Korean business is actively involved in various community initiatives in Vietnam. These include 11 years of sponsoring the national Taekwondo team, a 10-year project in the south-central province of Ninh Thuan related to chili cultivation, a 6-year program supporting short film development, and five years of initiatives focused on girls’ education.
