HCMC – Dak Lak Province has approved the distribution of 2,000 tons of rice from the national reserve to assist residents affected by severe floods.
The rice allocation was approved under Decision No. 727 issued by the General Department of State Reserves, which authorized an emergency release of rice to Dak Lak.
According to the provincial authorities, the rice will be delivered to residents in 24 communes and wards impacted by natural disasters and flooding. Distribution is scheduled from November 21 to 28.
This support follows an earlier decision by the Ministry of Finance to release more than 1,700 tons of rice from the national reserve to help storm-affected Dak Lak residents.
